A year prior, we had successfully established the creative world of Bálsamo Bengué by introducing the "Nano Tanakas" > tiny masseuses living inside the product.
 

For the following year our answer came from a powerful wave of nostalgia. To communicate a "power-up," we turned to the most iconic source of that concept: 80s Japanese superhero series. This cultural insight allowed us to evolve our characters in a way that was instantly recognizable and highly entertaining. The Nano Tanakas were reborn as the "Power Tanakas".

The campaign was brought to life in two films that are a full-blown homage to the Tokusatsu genre. We created a Super Sentai-style team of heroes who assemble to fight a giant, kaiju-style "Pain Monster". After a dynamic battle showcasing their new strength, they unleash their final move, resulting in a massive, satisfying explosion. In a classic final shot, the Power Tanakas walk away calmly as the monster erupts behind them. After all, cool guys don't look at explosions. #ItsMorphingTime
